Calling all proud pet owners! For anyone who can't get enough of their furry friend's antics, read on. The first-ever Secret Life of Pets ride is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood this month.

Have you ever wondered what your pet does when you're not watching? Here's a good way to find out (besides getting a doggy cam).

The new ride is set to open March 27 and will take guests on a delightful cinematic journey through the world of pet adoption and bringing a companion into their fur-ever home. But that's not all.

Everyone who joins the ride gets a cartoon puppy version of themselves. So, every time a new guest joins the journey, another dog is available to adopt.

State of the art tracking equipment is also used to help keep track of the guest's position along the ride.

A puppy version of you will join Max, Duke, Gidget, and Snowball on a journey through the (fictional) streets of New York. The fun is un-leashed!

The Los Angeles Daily News says there will be 64 animated figures using the latest technology to make the ride feel immersive.

All of the original actors have reprised their roles for the pet's voices too. So, the dog profiles will sound just like the original movie characters.

Lastly, virtual line technology allows patrons to use their Universal Studios app and check ride times to avoid long waits.

The Secret Life of Pets ride will take the place of The Walking Dead attraction, which officially closed on March 4.

But this animal lover's ride isn't the only new attraction coming to Universal Studios Hollywood. Super Nintendo World will also have a place at the California park; its date is still TBD.

Several details have been released, including the confirmation of Princess Peach's Castle, Bowser's Castle, and a real-life version of Mario Kart with power-up wristbands.
