Chik-Fil-A Just Launched Quarantine Meal Kits So You Can Have Their Crispy Chicken At Home
No cooking needed.
Tired of cooking? Problem solved. Chik-Fil-A meal kits just launched, so you can enjoy their crispy chicken at home.
“Customers are asking us to serve them at home,” so they responded, rep. Michael Patrick, told CNN Business.
While we're all inside during the state's stay at home order, this should be a real treat. Plus, we'll take any chance we can indulge our drive-thru cravings.
Each kit costs $14.99 and serves two people.
Thankfully, they've done most of the work for you. Since the meal is already pre-cooked, all you have to do is reheat it on the stove top when you get home.
When can you buy your meal kit?
Expect them to roll out by next Monday, May 4; they will be offered only via delivery or pick-up.
CNN reports that it is up to each restaurant whether they'd like to offer them, but about half of all Chik-Fil-A locations are expected to opt-in.
Inside your magic to-go box, you'll receive two breaded chicken parmasean filets, marina sauce, cheese, and a side of creamy garlic and lemon pasta. *mouth waters *
If you'd like, you're allowed to swap out the breaded chicken for grilled or spicy pieces.
This is just one of the ways the company has started to reach its customers at home. The meal kit was originally introduced in 2018 but since people are indoors, it could be a good time to bring it back.
Chik-Fil-A also recently started selling their yummy Polynesian and other signature sauces at stores like Publix, Walmart, Target, and Winn-Dixie in Florida.
We're not jealous; you're jealous.
If you're interested in trying out some of their signature dishes at home, they have recently started posting recipes to their Facebook and Instagram pages.
We don't know about you, but we've got our weekend plans covered.
