This Is Not A Drill Floridians — Chick-Fil-A Sauces Will Be For Sale In Local Stores Soon
We can probably all agree that nothing tastes quite like an enormous, juicy fried chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A. The creme de la creme though is probably their signature Chick-Fil-A and Polynesian sauces, which arguably give that very special kick to their famous sandies. Lucky for Sunshine Staters, you'll be able to take a little bit of Chick-Fil-A in Florida home with you — because their sauces are officially coming to grocery stores. This may just change the way you dip n' dunk your nugs.
Yes, the list of distributors is going to include Publix, and it totally means that you'll soon be able to drown your favorite pub-sub (Havana Bold anyone?) in that killer Chick-Fil-A sauce. Was culinary today, y’all?
You will also be able to head on over to participating Target, Walmart and Winn-Dixie stores to start buying up the new 16-fluid ounce bottles that will supersize your sauce servings for $3.49.
That’s right — no more scooping teaspoons out of tiny plastic dipping packages! However, only the Chick-Fil-A and Polynesian sauces will be included in the retail debut.
Honey mustard and BBQ superfans will be able to get their hands on some bottled sauces too, but in a slightly different way.
At participating locations, Chick-fil-A customers in Florida who place a catering order will receive 8-ounce bottles of Chick-Fil-A, Polynesian, BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Garden Herb Ranch sauces to go with their orders.
Sweet and Spicy Sriracha as well as Zesty Buffalo may not be making it to the bottle at this time, but will still be available in individual packets.
If you're as ready as we are to start counting down the days to the, you're gonna have to hang tight.
The company hasn't made an announcement with an exact date of the debut, but say we will start seeing the sauces roll out into local shops starting in April and May.
Chick-Fil-A also encourages you to call your local grocery chains to see if they'll be participating. The success of this pilot launch in Florida will determine if the sauces see a nationwide retail rollout. And let's be real — almost everyone in the U.S. probably wishes they could be Floridians right now.
It turns out that the retail sales of their 16-ounce bottles will also be donated to the Chick-Fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative, which awards scholarships to the fast-food chain's Team Members — a total of $17 million in scholarships has gone to 6,700 employees this year alone.
Since 1973, the company's initiative has helped nearly 60,000 Chick-Fil-A team members pay for college with a total investment of $92 million in scholarships.
Whether you are a Chick-Fil-A addict or just a casual fan of yummy sauces, you might be pretty stoked about this tasty addition to Florida grocery store aisles.
