Netflix’s new hit docuseries Tiger King has basically turned us all into cool cats and kittens. If you haven’t binged the series on your own just yet, you might find yourself feeling compelled to after seeing the antics it has stirred up from viewers already. One such fan, who works at a Florida Publix, even crafted mini Tiger King cakes to sell at the store’s bakery.

The cakes featured piped frosting faces of two iconic characters from the documentary, Carole Baskin, owner of Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, and Joe Exotic, a rival ex-zookeeper from Oklahoma. A cake with the face of a tiger was also featured in the lineup — each one going for $9.99.

Narcity reached out to Kimberlee Bias, who posted photos of the sweet treats on social media, and she told us that the mastermind behind the cakes was a bakery employee she once worked with.

After reaching out for a comment, Narcity hasn't heard back from the creator about her trendy treats, but the original poster was able to tell us a little bit more about them.

Found at a Publix in Ft. Myers, Bias said she believes they were just something fun made for the mini specialty cakes offered in the bakery, but she's unsure how the corporate side of Publix feels about the Tiger King creations or if they'll be able to make them again.

Narcity also reached out to Publix for comment, but have not received a reply as of publication.

These cakes aren't currently expected to become a staple of the bakery's specialty mini-cake offerings.

As far as frosting likenesses go, how do you think the cakes stack up to the real thing — have they reached uncanny valley or will the cat be dragging them in?
