Buy me some ramen and cracker jacks...
The Battery, known as the home of Truist Park, (R.I.P. SunTrust) is so much more than just a baseball field. Even if you're not a sports fan, you'd probably still agree that it's one the best party places in the city. The ever-growing slew of bars and restaurants surrounds the park with lively energy and it's about to be even better with this new food hall at The Battery.
A brand new Asian street food hall will bless the area next month and you can expect to take your taste buds on a trip across the continent to China, Laos, Thailand, Japan and more.
The 5,000-square-foot space, called "Ph'east," is actually having a soft opening today (January 29), but will officially be open for business on February 1.
The "Far East Street Feast" will be a cultural hub of delicious and authentic Asian fare, bringing together some of the most popular eateries in Atlanta (along with all-new bites as well).
Inspired by hawkers markets on the streets of Asia, Ph'east will offer you a taste of the real thing at places like the ever-popular, , Fan T'Asia, Snackboxe Bistro and more.
You can look forward to munching on flavorful bites like spicy beef lo mein, walnut shrimp, laap, ceviche, ramen, saku and so much more. Not to mention the iconic "food-shaped" sushi masterpieces at Poke Burri including pizza, donuts and hotdogs.
The social energy and good vibes will be flowing throughout the communal area and the 1,500-square-foot covered patio.
You can also enjoy all the booze while you're eating your way through Asia. Taps will offer rotating craft beers from Georgia to Tokyo plus hand-crafted cocktails on tap.
When you're taken out the ball game, you truly won't "care if you ever come back."
