Netflix's Tiger King has everyone's attention - it seems it's all anyone is talking about. The hit show has also gained the attention of professional animal caretakers who have some thoughts on it too. This tiger rescue in North Carolina took to their social media to share their opinion about the docu-series' cultural impact.

Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro, North Carolina's mission is "saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild." Their detailed website explains their purpose, vision and how they rescue these big cats.

Instead of focusing on if Carole Baskin actually fed her husband to the cats, this sanctuary wanted to turn the conversation to the real animal issues here.

The rescue posted a list of 10 facts on their Facebook page that outlines need-to-know information about big cats in captivity that Tiger King doesn't touch on.

In the series, both show stars Joe Exotic and Bhagavan Antle express focusing their "sanctuaries" on educating the public, but point number six on Caroline Tiger Rescue's list states that "There is nothing educational about handling a wild animal."

The point goes on to explain, "Cub petting and big cat shows are not educational and do nothing to help conserve big cats. These attractions distort the public’s understanding of the true nature of the animals and jeopardize genuine conservation efforts."
