These Austin Yoga Spots Are Offering Cheap & Free Virtual Classes All Month
Practicing your breathing, stretching your body, and exerting yourself are all things that should still be happening regardless of having to stay indoors. Fortunately, Austin yoga spots are offering online classes to allow yogis and those new to the activity to practice nama-staying indoors. Whether you're from the area or are just looking to practice yoga from one of Austin's best studios, this is your chance to do so without risking your health or the health of others.
Practice Yoga Austin and Wanderlust Yoga Austin are taking this time to do something rarely seen before: offering yoga!
Both studios announcedthis week that they'd be moving online to allow yoga to still be apart of people's daily routines.
If it wasn't apart of your daily routine before, maybe because you were too nervous to try something new in front of a group of people, this opportunity is perfect for you as well.
Red Dawg Hot Yoga, a studio in San Marcos and just a short drive from Austin, is also making the transition! Austinites and San Antonians may be familiar with this studio.
Each spot is doing things a little bit differently, so it's important to know how exactly to access these online yoga classes.
Practice's Instagram post where they announced that public classes were temporarily suspended went into great detail of how their new schedule would work.
The Practice Yoga Austin Facebook page is where they're broadcasting a daily class, and they advise you follow it to continue to "practice" with them.
Wanderlust will be showcasing their flow through a Zoom meeting. You'll need to get a Zoom account, which you can get free through their Instagram stories.
Afterward, you'll go to the Zoom link at the start of class and enter the passcode that comes with your unique meeting ID.
Red Dawg is also using Zoom, though you'll need $7 to receive access if you're a non-member. Members practice for free!
You can visit their website here for more information.
Grab your yoga mats, class is anything but canceled!
