Joanna Gaines Is Opening A Massive 53,000 Sq Ft Hotel In Texas (PHOTO)
Magnolia just got a whole lot bigger!
Unless you're living in Waco, the chances of Chip and Joanna re-designing your home are slim. And, well, shucks because they are so good at doing what they do. But fret no more because you'll now have an opportunity to spend one night in Chip and Joanna's new hotel in Texas.
On October 3, Jo took to her Instagram to announce that they are bringing you a home away from home in Waco. In a full-length video posted to their YouTube, they revealed that they are building their very first hotel. It's hard to believe that they haven't already done this seeing as they are always up to building something, but better late then never, right?
Chip, in a bellhop costume being the quirky guy he has always been, joined in on the fun of the new project announcement. According to USA Today, the hotel will be located just a couple blocks from their Magnolia Market shopping center, and is taking over a 53,000 square-foot building built in 1928. If there's anyone that can transform an old building and make it look worthy to spend the night, it's this duo.
The three-story hotel will have a restaurant, rooftop terrace, café, and even a grand ballroom. If you're planning to get married in, this just might be the time to set up a future venue visit. Too bad you'll have to postpone your nuptials though because the hotel wont open till 2021.
"That is our dream for this hotel—that it would serve as an extension of the way we feel about our own home and all it represents to us, and that every guest who comes to stay would experience that same sense of belonging and community," Jo included on their website. And just like that, we are wanting to click refresh until we can book. Luckily for you, Narcity has reached out to Magnolia to find out when this will be exactly!
In the meantime, you can visit the Gaines' empire in Waco with a visit toor Magnolia Table, open all year. But if it were us and we could only do one trip out to Waco, we would wait for this hotel to open. Wouldn't you rather get the full experience for your weekend getaway? It's sure to be a super magical stay.
