Living in Dallas has so many delightful perks, including the multitude of public parks, tasty restaurants, and endless things to do. Now, there's a way for you to enjoy so much of what the city has to offer - all for free! With this super simple and free Dallas trick, you can get free tickets to concerts, shows, and museums across the city.

Here's the trick: sign up for a Dallas library card. That's it. It's free and takes barely any time at all!

To sign up for a card, all you have to do is be a Dallas resident, student, teacher, or employee in the city and sign up at no cost at a library near you.

Once you have gotten your Dallas library card for the Culture Pass program, you can log into Culture Pass Dallas and start accessing all of the things to do for free across the city for library card members.

There are so many participating venues and popular Dallas spots that are giving out free tickets in the new city program.

The Dallas Chamber Symphony, the ever-so-popular Perot Museum (hopefully they give out tickets for their upcoming Pixar exhibit!), the beautiful Dallas Museum of Art, the Majestic Theater, The Sixth Floor Museum and too many others to count are giving away free experiences to the library card members.

Library cardholders can get five free tickets at a time. Each concert, museum, and attraction will limit the amount of free passes an individual can get per event per year, so beware of that rule.

The tickets will usually be given out in limited amounts, so be sure to check the site every day to snag some good ones before they run out!

We cannot wait to see all of your proud Dallas residents exploring the art in your city and opening your eyes to the rich cultural world around you in the metroplex.

For other fun and free things to do around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, you can head over to the city's upcoming free tamale festival, or its giant, boozy Christmas market this December.

There are stories everywhere! If you spot a newsworthy event in your city, send us a message, photo, or video @NarcityUSA on Facebook and Instagram.
