Hugh Jackman is a man of many talents—dancing, singing, acting, negotiating salaries with Zac Efron. But when Hugh Jackman popped up in Discovery Park yesterday and gave away free coffee, we had no idea he had such a knack for putting the biggest caffeinated smiles on our faces. And we're people not easy to please.
His stop in Houston was part of his world tour "Hugh Jackman: The Man. The Music. The Show," which he performed at the Toyota Center last night.
When he's not neglecting his fictional family for promises of fortune, he's running his coffee shop in Tribeca and Battery Park. And he wasn't about to leave his grounds behind just because of a world tour.
As part of his tour, he brings along not only a tour bus, but a coffee truck. The "Laughing Man" coffee truck hands out free coffee to people in need of some caffeine before his shows.
The truck will continue to follow him on his tour to Dallas, Chicago, Boston, and more to be announced!
In addition to the coffee shop, Jackman launched The Laughing Man Foundation, an organization that supports educational programs, community development, and social entrepreneurs. He is reported to donate 100% of his profits to it. What a guy.
Also, on Wednesday morning, NASA hosted him and showed him around the mission control center. So, it's official—we've adopted Hugh Jackman as one of our own. This is #HUGHston now!
He will bless the people of Dallas on Wednesday, June 19, in Klyde Warren Park from 7 am to 1 pm before his show. Now that is how you put on the greatest show!
You can buy tickets to show here.
"The noblest art is that of making others happy," P.T. Barnum once said, and we're glad to see Jackman hasn't strayed too much from the character we love so much.
