In addition to this, businesses like amusement parks, movie theaters, zoos, aquariums, and bowling alleys can now expand operations to 75% capacity.

Safety protocols are required to continue, such as wearing a mask and social distancing.

In bars, all customers have to be seated while eating and drinking inside.

This announcement comes just days after Abbott teased the reopening in a tweet.

Texas has reported 777,556 total cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday.
