What Is "The Shiggy Dance" And Why Is Everybody Doing It

#TheShiggy dance challenge is inspired by Drake's new song "In My Feelings".

What is the Shiggy?

A brand new "dance challenge" has swept the internet and now everyone is recording themselves doing the Shiggy and posting it on Instagram. Yes, literally everyone - even celebs are joining the Shiggy train.

Here's the first video of the Shiggy.

It all started when online sensation @TheShiggyShow posted a video of himself doing a dance to Drake's song "In My Feelings" and posted it on his Instagram, challenging his fans to continue the trend.

The #InMyFeelingsChallenge now known as the #DoTheShiggy challenge spread on the internet like wildfire. The Instagrammer has over 1.2 million followers, so it didn't take long for his "dance challenge" to go viral.

Now, everyone and their moms are doing the Shiggy.

Here's a video of Ciara and her husband and NFL footballer Russell Wilson doing the Shiggy. We almost forgot that Ciara has some seriously sick moves. She clearly knows how to do the Shiggy.

Down below is a video of Odell Jackson Jr. doing the Shiggy! Apparently, footballers love Drake and the Shiggy too!

We can't get over this new dance trend. Flossing is out, dabbing is over and the Shiggy is in!

Drake recently debuted his brand new album, Scorpion and his fans are loving it! On the album, he talks about his mysterious child with Sophie Brussaux, his rumoured fling with Bella Hadid and more!

We're super excited that Drake's song is apart of the crazy new dance challenge!
