Sometimes all you want is a donut or coffee but you don’t have the energy to actually go anywhere to get one.
If that sounds like you good news! Tim Hortons is starting to deliver to people’s homes and offices in parts of Canada starting this week.
Right now the company has picked only 3 cities to start with.
So, what are these lucky cities that can now have your morning coffee come to you directly?
Edmonton, Vancouver and Ottawa are the jumping off point for the new partnership between Timmies and food delivery app Skip the Dishes.
Now if you live in a city like Calgary, Toronto or Montreal where this isn’t available don’t fret too much, the company is hoping to expand this to other cities in the coming months.
Getting into the delivery game is something that the company needs to do to help it stay competitive with its rivals, says Duncan Fulton, the chief corporate officer of Tim Hortons parent company Restaurant Brands International.
It’s not the only change coming to the company, it’s also going to be rolling out a loyalty program in the fall which will allow people to order and pay in advance of getting their food.
So if you’re someone who just has to have a coffee every day it’ll make it easier for you to get your hands on it.
But for now if you’re living in Edmonton, Vancouver or Ottawa you can now get it delivered to you, the rest of us will have to wait.
