This lotto max prize keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Last week, we covered a story about the Lotto Max and how it was the biggest prize in Ontario history. Well, the pot keeps growing and it's officially the biggest lottery prize in the history of Canada!
Oh, and you can still buy a ticket to win!
According to CTV News, the record-breaking prize is up to $110 million for Friday's Lotto Max. The jackpot is estimated at $60 million, plus 50 additional $1 million prizes.
If you won this lottery, you would never have to work again! This is crazy!
The odds of winning the Lotto Max jackpot per $5 play are one in 28.6 million. The overall odds of winning any prize with Lotto Max are 1 in 6.6.
The OLG vice president Randy Weyersberg said, "This is not the biggest prize offering in the Lotto Max history, but the biggest prize offering for any single lottery draw in Canadian history."
Most millennials don't believe in buying lotteries, but hey, maybe this is the one time it wouldn't hurt to spend some extra cash on a lottery ticket. You may just get lucky. You could retire early, go live on the Amalfi coast and never think about your worries again.
