Twitter Canada knows the key to every millennial's heart - access to amazing TV shows without cable or a Netflix subscription. Soon, you'll be able to tune into premium live broadcasts from some of your favourite shows simply by opening your Twitter.
Twitter is teaming up with Canada's major networks to produce original content and stream it live. They just announced their lineup of programs, and you're definitely going to like what you see.
In entertainment and lifestyle, Twitter Canada's launching '#TrendingTonight' with ET Canada. Food Network Canada is getting in on the action with their live segment '#OneDirtyDish.' Twitter Canada will also be streaming the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs in August.
For news, Twitter's giving you lots of options. BuzzFeed, BetaKit and Cheddar will each have a regular lives series, which you can watch directly from your Twitter feed. Bloomberg's 'TicToc' is the first and only 24-hour global news program, and it'll be streaming exclusively on Twitter.
In sports, you'll have access to Golf Canada, Tennis Canada, Homestand Sports and National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA). Twitter's also launching an all new docu-series from Canadian Olympic speed skater Samuel Girard.
Twitter Canada already has an impressive roster of live sports content, including MLB, NFL, PGA Tour and Formula 1.
Twitter has been dominating the live-stream game in recent years. It has been the go-to destination for Canadians to watch live broadcasts of some of the biggest events in the world, including CBC's Olympic live-streams from PyeongChang and Canadian live coverage of the royal wedding.
Twitter also live-streamed the Ontario election debates and continues to stream live broadcasts of The Agenda with Steve Paikin on TVO.
