Something truly enchanting is coming to Ontario this season, and it will whisk you away to a stunning winter wonderland. While dinner parties are usually held indoors during this time of year, you'll soon be able to enjoy your food outside surrounded by snow. A brand new dining experience will bring you right to the edge of a frosty waterfall for an unforgettable evening. Niagara Fall's snow globe dining event lets you indulge in a three-course meal on top of the falls this winter.
For the first time ever, magical snow globes will be popping up by the falls, and you can enjoy gourmet food and wine inside.
The Snow Globe Soiree is part of the annual Niagara Icewine Festival, which is celebrating its 25th year running in 2020.
10 clear, heated globes will make up the Domed Dining Village, set along the Niagara Park's promenade.
They offer a clear view of the glowing falls and come equipped with twinkling lights, fur blankets, and a Snow Globe Concierge.
You can indulge in three-course meals created by some of Niagara's top chefs.
The changing menu is comprised of dishes such as beef short rib, hand-rolled ricotta gnocchi, and pan-seared black cod.
In spirit of the Icewine Festival, many options are infused with the beverage, such as icewine bacon and icewine marshmallow.
The dining domes can be purchased in groups of six, and start at $175 per person.
Two bottles of premium VQA wine are included with each dome.
The experience also includes access to a Snow Lounge, where you can enjoy ice wine cocktails before and after your picturesque feast.
The Snow Globe Soiree runs from January 16, 2020, to February 16, 2020.
Tickets have already been selling out online, so it's best to book your spot soon.
Relax in a luxurious snow globe on top of Niagara Falls, and gaze out at the frosty wonderland around you as you enjoy some gourmet dishes.
You can also visit some magical dining domes in Toronto this year. The Intercontinental Yorkville Hotel is hosting igloo dinners outside until the end of March 2020.
