For those of us who adore an outdoor adventure, hiking is one of the best all-season activities we can partake in. And if you’re a sucker for a good boardwalk (who isn’t?), then you need to add Niagara’s White Water Walk to your adventure bucket list ASAP. With breathtaking views of white rapids and an easy, flat surface to walk on, this spot is perfect — even for your friend who hates hiking

The boardwalk, which lines the Niagara River, is set to reopen for the spring season on April 17, 2020, and honestly, we can hardly wait.

You start your journey by taking an elevator down 70 metres to the base of the gorge, which is a thrill in itself, really.

From here, you can admire the 410-million-year-old rocks and the impressive river rapids as you walk along the self-guided boardwalk.

Along the way, you will find multiple viewing platforms that branch out to get you even closer to the roaring waters.

It’s a view you truly don’t want to miss.

It’s safe to say this magical spot is rapidly becoming one of our favourites.

So, if you’re already planning ahead for spring, don’t forget about the White Water Walk.

According to the Niagara Parks calendar, the boardwalk is open sporadically throughout April starting on the 17th.

However, it will be open daily beginning in May.

You will need tickets to access this stunning spot, but at only $16.50 each, that's a pretty small price to pay for such a glorious day out.

With the falls being less than two hours from Toronto, you could easily zip up for a quick day trip with the squad.

Or bring your S/O and enjoy the romance of crashing waves on a sunny afternoon.

Either way, we know where we’ll be this April!
