It feels like just yesterday that the world was blown away by the news of the infamous USC Admissions Scandal, but in reality, it was about eight months ago that the story broke. Since then, many of the involved celebrities have taken a step back from the spotlight, but after months of silence, Olivia Jade returned to YouTube.

The USC Scandal involved parents who were allegedly bribing staff members of a prestigious American university so that their children could attend the school.

Amongst those accused were Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, who pleaded guilty, and Fuller House star Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, who pleaded not guilty and will stand trial in early 2020.

When the news broke, many of Loughlin's brand partners dropped her, and the same thing happened to her daughter who was bribed into the university, Olivia Jade.

Prior to the scandal, Jade was a very successful YouTuber and Instagram influencer with dozen of brand deals.

After the news of the scandal came out, Jade went radio silent all across social media, and people have been eagerly waiting to hear what she has to say next.

On December 1, Jade broke her silence and posted a video to her YouTube channel.

Although it's only two minutes in length, the video tells fans a lot about what's been going on in the 20-year old's life.

She starts off by welcoming viewers back to her channel, addressing the fact that she's been gone for some time, and then, explains that legally, she cannot talk about what's been going on.

"I debated for like, seven or eight months, like, well if I can't talk about it, is there a point in coming back, and not being able to say anything? I want to come back because I want to come back," Jade said.

From the looks of things, people who have seen the video are pretty divided on whether they support Jade's comeback or not.

"Seeing people still supporting olivia jade is so embarrassing lmao," one person tweeted.

"@oliviajadee you have some huge balls girl. Unlike other parents whose children were unaware of their wrong doing, that was not the case for you and your sister. I hope you both are called as prosecution witnesses. You both took the spots if deserving students. #oliviajade #cheat," commented another.

Some others are showing their support though, and standing united with the YouTuber.

"Olivia Jade is back, wow, i missed you girl," one of Jade's fans tweeted. "Olivia jade is back and i couldn’t be more happier," commented another.

Whether you're excited about her return or not, it looks like Jade's YouTube page is back in action. At the end of today's video, she promised that more vlogs will be coming soon, and it will be interesting to see what kind of content she comes up with.
