Ontario Man Dies After Alleged Street Racing Crash

A 26-year-old man from Burlington, Ontario was involved in a crash early this morning and has passed away in the hospital. The man who died was a passenger in the vehicle that was allegedly racing. 

According to reports, the race is said to have started at Ford Drive in Oakville and continued westbound until Guelph Line, at which point the black Toyota carrying the victim slammed into a median.

According to Ontario Provincial Police, the black Toyota was allegedly involved in a race with one or two Audi cars at the time. After the crash, the other vehicles quickly sped away from the scene.

The 26-year-old man was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The 23-year-old driver of the vehicle was unharmed. 

Police are asking for the drivers of the Audi cars to come forward to give information from their perspective about the events that night.
