The Riverbend Cabin is a cozy spot for a summer break because you're pretty secluded from civilization but you're also not far from Ontario's two major cities. You can find this cabin in the small town of Thomasburg which is just over a 2-hour drive from Toronto and Ottawa! It's halfway between both cities making it super convenient for a weekend escape.

The A-frame cabin was built back in 1983 so it has tons of vintage vibes on the outside but inside, the new owners renovated and gave it a modern look so it will be comfortable for guests. It sits on a private, no-exit street so there won't be many cars driving past during your stay and you're just a few steps from the waterfront! 

The cabin fits 4 people comfortably and has tons of great amenities including an outdoor fire pit, a patio with comfortable seating, just a few steps from the water with a dock for swimming, a 2-storey loft-style house with comfortable furniture and an open concept layout.

The best part about this hidden cabin is that it's only $81 per night to rent! If you're splitting with 4 people that's just slightly more than $20 each for the night which is pretty amazing if you're trying to save money this summer. You'll have a cozy, Instagram-worthy cabin to sleep in and a quiet river to cool off in during the day. It has everything you could want in a summer cabin for super cheap!
