On July 19, 2020, Laveanne Lavender and Tea Grannys & Friends are hosting a magical flower field tour and afternoon tea, and you can indulge in some lavender inspired treats.
Located just outside of Port Hope, Laveanne Lavender boasts over 4 acres of blooming lavender as well as a giant lavender labyrinth you can wander through.
The farm has the widest selection of lavender varieties in Canada, with blossoms of red, white, pink, and more.
The afternoon tea event is a two-part experience, beginning at Laveanne Lavender Fields.
You can start the day off by wandering through the flowers and breathing in the sweet smell of summer, before meeting in the gift shop for a slide presentation all about these purple blooms.
Next, you can head over to Tea Grannys & Friends for some delicious treats.
The Victorian-themed tea house is offering a four-course afternoon tea, where you can indulge in lavender-infused items like sandwiches and a variety of desserts.
The scones are baked fresh as guests are in the waiting room, filling the air with a mouth-watering aroma, and served warm at the table.
The event is $35 per person, and you can contact Tea Grannys & Friends to register.
