This Massive Retro Arcade Bar In Florida Is Reopening This Weekend (VIDEO)
Unleashing your inner kid with excess amounts of sugar and your favorite old video games is a great way to blow off steam, and you can finally kick those quarantine blues doing just that at one of the largest arcade pubs in Central Florida. Arcade Monsters is finally opening back up this week, which means you can once again indulge in that sweet, sweet nostalgia of classic candies, arcade games, and some adult beverages for good measure. They just added an expansion, and you can check it out during their soft reopening this Friday!
On their Instagram page, the arcade gave a sneak peek of their new expansion, walking viewers through rows of pinball machines, retro games, and bright, nostalgic murals.
Their new location passed inspection just a few days ago, and their soft opening is this weekend on Friday, May 22.
Another post encouraged guests to wear anime or retro game-themed masks to the opening on Friday. Capacity will be limited to 50%, so you’ll probably want to get there early to grab your spot.
The doors open at 5 p.m. and will close at midnight, giving you plenty of time to hit all of your favorite games, check out the new anime bar, candy store, new merch, and expanded menu featuring Cuban foods.
According to the Facebook event posting, Arcade Monsters added approximately 175 new games to their line up for you to get your game on.
The new location also features more seating, perfect for practicing social distancing even while you sip n' slay.
They've also added a new space that you can rent for events, such as birthdays or maybe even a game-themed bachelorette party.
So grab your anime mask and enjoy a week of retro games, modern consoles, and all those throwback vibes.
