They don't call Disney "The Happiest Place on Earth" for nothing! Whether it's the immersive worlds they recreate for us to wander or the fairy tale feels you get while mingling with your favorite characters, the famous park has its own special brand of magic. The theme park is already a pretty gorgeous place to visit even when packed, but it's especially breathtaking at Disney World Orlando's Animal Kingdom during the current park closures.
In a post made to Disney Parks Blog on April 6, 2020, author Thomas Smith shared a series of images taken by the park's Imagineers, whose designs are what bring these worlds to life. The images showed off the Monday sunrise at the Animal Kingdom's Pandora — The World of Avatar section of the park.
The four featured shots show the true #DisneyMagicMoments as the sun's rays frame the Pandoran rock formations and peek between the leafy branches at the Tree of Life.
The completely empty walkway accented by bent branches that takes you below the floating mountains easily looks like a portal to another world.
A couple of the images can also be found on the Imagineers Instagram page, @waltdisneyimagineering. The post's caption extended a little Monday Magic to their followers, no matter where they are in the world.

The post reads, “'It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. We are children of the world.' From our Pandora – The World of Avatar ☀️sunrise to yours, good morning and have a magical Monday!"
While the park hasn't released an anticipated re-opening date yet — leaving the castle closed until further notice — we can get our Disney fix with these gorgeous photos, shopping for merch, going on virtual rides from our couches, and even pulling up Disney+ for a good old fashion binge sesh.
