Disney World Orlando's Coral Reef Restaurant Lets You Dine Under The Sea With Marine Life

We all probably get a little FOMO watching the mermaids at Weeki Wachee Springs, wishing life could be as simple as relaxing on warm rocks in the sun and swimming to your heart’s content. While most of us won’t be able to reach mermaid-levels of lounging, you can be part of an underwater world when you dine at the Coral Reef Restaurant at Disney World Orlando, where you can eat and drink right next to sharks, rays, and sea turtles!

Located within Future World at Epcot, Coral Reef is a dining experience like no other and gives you a mermaid’s view of life beneath the water’s surface. It features a live coral reef and over 4,000 sea critters gliding by as you enjoy your dinner, including scuba divers!

The restaurant offers ocean-fresh fare from around the world, as well as a seasonal menu; it’s definitely worth a second trip to try it all. You’ll want to save room for the delectable dessert menu too, which includes seasonal cheesecake and “The Chocolate Wave.”

You won’t have to worry about getting a bad seat either, because the panoramic windows give every table a great view of the vibrant world of the seas with Nemo & his friends.

Coral Reef boasts a stunning "undersea" view, which is also the largest indoor saltwater environment ever built, and it actually holds enough water to fill 54 Olympic swimming pools.

The Seas were designed by marine scientists with carefully crafted habitats to enrich the lives of all of the sea creatures who call it home. There are over 4,000 species swimming within it, including 85 types of tropical fish.

Unsurprisingly, the Coral Reef fills up pretty fast, so you’ll definitely want to make a reservation. For those visiting from afar, you can even make your reservation as far as 180 days in advance from your visit.

What better way to enjoy an underwater view of the "deep blue" as you satisfy your cravings too.
