Who doesn't love a good pie? And if you're Floridian, chances are you're a fan of the key lime ones especially; lovers of the fresh fruity pastry won't want to miss this food festival in Florida dedicated to everything Key Lime.

The Florida Key Lime Pie Festival will take over Veterans Memorial Park in Merritt Island next weekend on January 18th, and we're ready to indulge ourselves in it all.

Between whole pies, mini ones in cups, key lime alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food trucks serving up their own key-lime creations, there will be no shortage of deliciousness to chow down.

Aside from perfect pies, food truck bites, and key lime or tropical fruit-flavored booze, beverages, and wines, the festival will be jam-packed with entertainment.

And really, what food festival is complete without a good friendly competition?

Of course, you can down some pie in the pie-eating contest, but you can also show off your hula-hooping skills and chug a lug in boozy beer drinking contests.

Live music will be playing throughout the duration of the festival, including steel drummers, America's Got Talent Finalist Ansley Burns, Team Blake contestant, Selkii, from season 16 of The Voice, American Idol contestant and Palm Bay local Mackenzie Carey, and many more musical guests will take the stage.

Additional entertainment you can expect to see include K-9 and bomb squad demonstrations, celeb autograph signings, wildlife shows, thoroughbred hermit crab races, a kids zone, street performers, artists, and more.

Tickets to this family-friendly event are actually super affordable too. Admission for adults is only $10, $5 for kids 12 and up, while little ones 4 and under get in free.

We're ready to put the lime in the pie and eat it all up! If you're ready to please your palate with everything key lime, check out the event details in the overview below.

Merritt Island will not only host this awesome fest, but it's also known for being one of the only places in the world where you can see the water glow at night.

You can experience it for yourself on a clear kayak bioluminescence tour and it's truly a magical experience you have to try at least once in your lifetime.
