Hidden Cafe In Orlando Is 90's Inspired With Boozy Drinks And Classic Book Rentals

With the explosion of recent tech, world issues, and heated government affairs, it’s enough to make you pine for simpler, quieter times. For millennials, that tends to make us think of the ’90s, that soft golden era that our generation has the privilege of remembering so fondly. Thankfully, this hidden boozy café in Orlando has those nostalgic vibes covered and it's known as Stardust Video and Coffee.

Like any good '90s-inspired place, Stardust is eclectic in the best ways possible.

Self-described as a home for some and trusted by all, they offer quasi-healthy food, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as a wide selection of books to rent at various price points — from old school stuff and niche finds to newer titles.

Entire shelves are overflowing with old classic DVDs and VHS tapes, which used to be for rent but are solely for aesthetic purposes now, offering a nostalgic backdrop for your pics.

You can even play around in the iconic photo booth, the original selfie taker, and take advantage of free Wi-Fi.

The café is open from 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

The kitchen itself is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day and has a set menu with frequent chef specials added on.

Stardust serves up salads, sandwiches, and snacks that pair great with booze too.

They all have hilarious names referencing your favorite popular movies like “Eddie’s Speedo,” “American Psycho,” and “Vote for Pedro.”

Their drink menu includes much more than just coffee and tea, too. They have a wide selection of craft beer in bottles as well as on tap, plus wines and liquors.

There’s an extensive Scotch Bar to try, too. The bar is open in the evenings until midnight, and sometimes until 2 a.m., on special occasions.

Stardust also hosts a community market in their parking lot every Monday. From 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., you can check out local produce, music, and other goodies at the Audubon Park Community Market.

Orlando is full of other interesting eateries and tucked-away gems too, including this speakeasy hidden inside an elevator and this magical witch shop full of crystals and hippie treasures.
