A Massive 2-Day Taco Festival Is Coming To Orlando Next Month

Yo quiero tacos.
A 2-Day Taco Festival Is Happening In Orlando This February

If your resolutions for 2020 included to spoil yourself more and take advantage of any chance to enjoy life's simpler pleasures, you're in luck. A huge food fest coming right to Florida will allow you to do just that. A two-day taco festival is happening in Orlando this February, and it's going to be filled with themed activities, live entertainment, and more than 75 different tacos to try.

The Orlando Taco Festival will have bites from over 30 of the area's best restaurants, eateries, and food trucks. This means that you'll have a wide variety of tasty tortilla-wrapped delights to choose from.

In case you are wondering, there will be other Mexican dishes available to savor as well, and delicious cocktails to sip all day long, including the all-time favorite margaritas, mojitos, beers, and more. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

The event is taking over Drive Shack on Lake Nona Boulevard on February 29 and March 1 — so mark your calendars.

The taco will be king at the event. Still, you will be able to indulge yourself with all kinds of yummy Mexican treats, including Mexican corn on the cob, churritos, churros, tamales, nachos (they will have a GIANT bar), cotton candy, cakes, desserts, and much more. As if that weren't enough, you can wash it all down with their selections from the margarita bar and tequila sampling area.

All tacos will be just $3 each, and depending on the admission ticket you have, you can get free taco sampling and complimentary drink vouchers.

If you think the food options at this fest sound amazing, wait until you hear about the entertainment.

They will have a stage with live bands, authentic traditional Mariachi entertainment (by Mariachi en Orlando), and live DJs. For the most daring attendees, there will be a chili pepper (and other food) eating contests, and over 100 TVs for sports viewing.

You can also visit the tequila expo, where 12 different types of tequila will be available in pre-arranged flights and shooters or for individual purchase.

The general admission ticket ($7.95 on pre-sale; $14.95 regular) will give you entry (2:00-8:00 p.m.), one free drink voucher, access to all the cash bars, and entertainment.

The premium admission ($29.95) gives you all the benefits from the general admission ticket plus five taco vouchers, bragging rights, a gift bag with a bottle of hot sauce, giveaways, and more.

Finally, the VIP admission ($49.95) allows you early access (12:00-8:00 p.m.) all of what the previous tickets give, plus four drink vouchers, exclusive access to the VIP Lounge with private bathrooms and a free game room, a terrace overlooking the event, music spun by a DJ, and a private bar.
