Orlando's Having A 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Party This Friday The 13th

Christmas cheer and Halloween fear collide in everyone’s favorite Tim Burton classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. A holiday staple through all the fall and winter months, which debuted in 1993 (do you feel old yet? Cause we do.) and is still celebrated seasonally. This year, you can revel in the bad dream fun, enjoy craft brews, and play video games at the Nightmare Before Christmas Party at Player 1 Video Game Bar.

Player 1 was established to celebrate two of the greatest inventions of all time: craft beer and video games. Throw in the obvious third greatest, and it’s sure to be a party you won’t want to miss.

This is one of those bars that kind of sneaks up on you—how haven’t you known about this before? Drink great beer and play retro video games? Um, yes please.

They offer a rotating selection of classic arcade cabinets, as well as a variety of modern consoles. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, you have unlimited access to all the classics under the $5 cover.

And with over 36 taps of rotating beer, you can quench your thirst after a particularly stressful game of Mario Kart.

This week, their Nightmare Before Christmas Party appropriately falls on Friday the 13th, and they’ve got some spooktacular specials. Revelers can enjoy $5 pumpkin sake shots, $8 pumpkin pie lattes, $8 Christmas coffee and donuts, as well as delicious tots from Knocker Tots.

A night like this doesn’t happen often, so be sure to top the night off with some spooky Christmas cosplay!

Jack Skellington himself would probably be pleased to know that temps are so hot in Florida, Death Valley is probably a better place to celebrate Christmas this year. And if you're looking to head to the parks for holiday fun, be sure to check out these awesome Florida resident discounts.
