A Massive Krampus Festival Is Taking Over Orlando For Free This December

For some, the joy of Christmas is actually quite dark and that is exactly how they plan on celebrating the holiday. The Milk District is bringing an all new Krampus Festival to the Market on South in Orlando, and it will celebrate all things dark Christmas.
If you're so down for this, mark December 8 on your calendar. The market will be filled with monsters rather than Santa Clauses, and it's absolutely free to attend.
Krampusfest promises to bring all sorts of fun for this one night only event. From a parade to food, you'll be entertained, and at times, scared through the evening.
Though kids are able to attend the events, the organizers cannot "vouch for their safety." Basically meaning, you most likely won't see children here.
Based on the Alpine legend of Krampusnacht, Krampus comes out for a night in December to punish misbehaving children.
If you've been on the naughty list, you might want to consider disguising yourself. Costumes are encouraged at this fest, so get your best horns out!
The organizers also promise a Krampuslauf parade with live music. Be sure to grab a bite at one of the many food booths surrounding the streets of the parade. Biergarten from Sideward Brewing will be present to hand out all the booze.
If Krampusfest is a bit too dark for you, how about checking out something more jolly at any of the many Orlando Christmas Markets this season. There's even a winter wonderland where you can be breezy rather than scared.
