You Can Wander Through This Lush Hidden Labyrinth For Free At A Central Florida Park

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we sometimes need a little break from it all. If you're looking for your next Zen escape on the cheap, you can wander through a hidden labyrinth for free at Sholom Park in Ocala.

This 44-acre botanical garden features multiple trails for you to enjoy the beauty of nature, but we're here for the Labyrinth: a hidden path that winds you through canopy-covered walkways, across streams, and into the wild for a lush and zen escape. You'll first have to wander through the rose garden to find it, tucked away in the back corner of the park.

Each area that you explore will have a stone with a passage inscribed to help center you in the now, live in the moment, and to give context to what you may be seeing.

As you twist and turn through the Labyrinth, you'll pass through forests, woodlands, fields, and come across flowers and Florida wildlife dotting the landscape - you're sure to come across plenty of spots to stop and grab a stunning Instashot.

If you're not quite ready to leave after walking through the Labyrinth, stay for a while and enjoy the rose garden, the Olive Tree Promenade, or even their Enchanted Forest for dreamy and relaxing nature vibes. Bring your BFF or pack a lunch and bring your boo for a beautiful and cheap date day idea.

Whether you explore it all or simply wander the Labyrinth, the beauty of Sholom Park is always free and waiting for you to explore it.
