This Orlando Eatery Serves A Crazy Delicious Fusion Of Chinese & Mexican Food
What if you could get the perfect combination of fast fare from food trucks, with the quality of a restaurant? Now think bigger. What if you could get the perfect balance between traditional Chinese food and Mexican food? Well, it’s Orlando, so of course, it’s already a thing! At Tako Cheena in downtown Orlando, you can get the perfect fusion of Mexican/Asian food with the homey food-truck vibe.
There’s really never a bad time to come here. With an artistically decorated interior where you can order at the counter and then sit to enjoy your meal, there’s also a service window for late nights and quick-eat crowds.
Since its original conception in 2010, Tako Cheena has opened several new locations, including a spot inside the Massey Cadillac dealership on John Young Parkway. To say they go against the grain of traditional eateries is an understatement, in the best way possible.
At Tako Cheena, you can get super creative combos of Mexican and Asian fare like Asian hot dogs topped with kimchi, pickled daikon, or avocado wasabi (among other things), tofu tacos, kimchi cheese fries, and loads of other Instagramable dishes.
Tako Cheena’s mission, which we daresay they’ve succeeded at, is to serve up a world fusion of flavors to please everyone’s palette.
Always fresh, not fancy. Casual, hip, and creative, they’re an easy favorite.
Sweet and sour, savory and spicy, meat, meatless, and everything in between; you’re sure to find something you’ll be ordering seconds of.
Street parking is available around the premises, and the restaurant serves lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Take out is always an option too.
