While parkgoers certainly get their steps in when wandering around The Happiest Place on Earth, there’s another way to experience the Disney theme parks while still getting exercise and avoiding the crazy crowds of tourists. RunDisney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has been a favorite for all, and in 2020 they’ll hold the first-ever villains themed race, with some awesome medals for finishers!

Whether you’re an avid runner or just a Disney lover, these races are for everyone and all fitness levels. And you don’t have to worry about being the winner, or even in the top five, because all participants who finish will receive a medal.

Next year’s run will feature Disney villains all along the course and on the prized medals, making it a great addition — or a perfect start — to your collection!

The run starts bright and early, long before the park opens to the public, so you'll have the chance to experience the park as you run in a way that very few guests get to.

Participants can look forward to an exclusive post-race feast held at Epcot, as well as discounts at restaurants and Disney Springs. It’s recommended to stay at a Disney hotel, as complimentary transport will be provided on the mornings of the races.

The Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will take place November 5 to 8 and has something for everyone. The race will feature a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and even a "Two Course" Challenge, where zealous runners can complete the 10K and half marathon in the same weekend.

If you’re looking to participate, registration opens to the public on March 10, 2020. Walt Disney World annual pass holders and Disney Vacation Club members are able to register before the general public, so make sure you get in there quick come March.

Costumes are highly encouraged!
