Some of our favorite classic shows never get old, no matter how wonderfully cheesy they are. The nostalgic, feel-good vibes of the oldies seem to withstand the test of time, and in the case of The Price Is Right, that’s never been more true. This August in Orlando, you’ll even have the chance to attend and participate in the classic show live at the Dr. Bob Carr Theater!
The interactive stage show was originally scheduled for April 19, 2020, but has been rescheduled for August 19 amid Coronavirus concerns. All tickets already purchased are being honored for the new date, so be sure to hold onto your stubs.
If you’ve dreamt of having a chance to “come on down” and try your hand at Plinko, Cliffhangers, and even The Big Wheel, now is finally your chance.
Anyone 18 and up can register at the box office 3 hours before the show starts for a chance to be a contestant. Seat tickets start at $39.50 to sit towards the back upwards to $60 for the front rows. Those under 18 are allowed to attend, but not compete.
You can even register to play without buying a ticket. The drawing for contestants is done 20 minutes prior to the show's start at 7:30 p.m. If a name is drawn who hasn’t bought a ticket they’ll be brought inside the venue to wait their turn to go onstage.
If you’ve seen the show, you know that prizes range from appliances, vacations, and even a new car. If you're a lucky winner, you’ll return to the stage after the show to go through the necessary paperwork to claim your prize.
What you can win will vary from show to show, but it’s usually always within the realm of what you see on TV. Prizes are usually received by contestants within 120 days of the show.
The Price Is Right Live has been playing to nearly sold-out audiences for over a decade, giving away over $12 million in cash and prizes — and this could finally be your chance to get in on the action!
