There Is A Post-Apocalyptic 'Fallout' Themed Bar Hidden Inside Of A Comic Shop In Orlando

As Fallout fans know, war never changes - but bars can change. Florida is home to so many bars to lift your spirits with some spirits, but one really takes it to the next level. This unique hidden bar brings the war inside with a truly nuclear theme, and it is explosive - take our bottle caps!

Vault 5421 in Orlando is a little hole in the wall bar, almost quite literally. Tucked into the back corner of the God's and Monsters Comic shop is every Fallout and Mad-Max fan's paradise - this bar will transport you into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, while you still enjoy all of the creature comforts of modern day life. They even have a screen behind the bar where they're known to play Rick and Morty and other awesome shows.

With industrial style decor and pops of green dripping radioactive material down the wall, you'll really get the feeling that you've really made it into a vault of the wastes. On the walls, you'll find various works of art, distressed looking decor, and of course the vault boy himself doing his signature thumbs up.

The theme of a post-apocalyptic fallout of the wasteland is everywhere you look; from the burning Mad-Max insignia behind the bar for those who are shiny and chrome on their way to Valhalla - to metal cages, hanging bulb lights, and colored lights; you'll really feel like a road warrior. They even have a Nuka Cola cooler where they store their huge collection of drink options from craft beers to wine, mead, and even mixed drinks. Their bartenders dress up to look super bad-ass too.

Whether you're a bad-ass psycho, raider of the wastes, vault boy or regular ol' dude, there's a little something for everyone here - even if you're not a gamer geek.  Check out some shots from this nuke of a bar below:

They have a huge selection of craft beers and beverages, board games, and retro videogame titles to pass the time before your next wasteland raid. Their SNES Classic is hooked up to fit the theme and has over 200 game titles to choose from -  they also have the whole back side of the menu that lists all the different titles you can play while you sip your Nuka-Cola!

If you're a fan of Fallout - you know that not everyone can get into the vault. To enter the bar, you must be 18 or older; sometimes they throw events for those 21 and older only. You can sip on some cold craft brews from the safety of the vault Wednesdays, from 5 pm to 10 pm, or 5 pm to 1 am on Friday and Saturdays. They're closed Sunday-Tuesday and Thursdays to the public but are still open by advanced booking only through their contact page.

If you're not coming here for the bar but want to scour the comics shop for your favorite heroes, the comic shop hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday 11 am to 8 pm. Every Wednesday they get new comics as their designated 'New Comics Day', where they stay open until 10 pm. Friday and Saturdays they're open 11 am to 12 am.
