Can you and your band of wasteland raiders escape before it's too late?
Post-Apocalyptic 'Fallout' Themed Bar In Orlando Will Open An Escape Room Soon

From RPGs like Fallout and Final Fantasy to looter shooters like Borderlands, the allure of the video game world calls out to the hearts of almost every gamer. Most of us wish we could climb into the T.V. and experience the virtual world of our favorite titles, and soon we'll be able to do almost just that. A new escape room experience is coming to the Vault 5421 bar in Orlando - get your bottle caps ready!

Vault 5421 is already the most unique bar in the wastes of Orlando; hidden within the Gods & Monsters comic shop is this little hole in the wall bar that is seriously awesome - turns out they've been working on an exciting new project too: an Escape the Vault, escape Room experience, and it sounds crazy cool.

This theatrically immersive, interactive, and adrenaline pumping 1-hour experience is best for groups of 4-6, but Vault 5421 told Narcity that they will accept groups of 12 for teambuilding activities. It all starts with a 10-minute starting mission, followed by a 5-minute video intro to set the scene and lets you sip on your free preordered beverages. At check-in, you'll be given a bag of equipment to help you on your raid, as well as a token to turn in to receive a free bottled beverage of your choice from their list; whether that's alcoholic or non-alcoholic is up to you! From there, that's where the real fun begins.

You and your group are a band of marauders trekking through the wasteland when you hear of a fallout shelter that is fully stocked with supplies (and booze!) that can help your band of bandits get ahead of the game. Somehow during your raid, you trip the defense protocols and you only have 45 minutes to solve a series of puzzles to escape the vault before it's too late.

Whether you manage to escape or not, you and your crew will have 30 minutes of drink and relaxation time in the bar afterward - where they have a huge selection of video game titles and beverages to sip and slay; you can even get a Nuka Cola! It's the most perfect chill ending to your heart-pumping escape room experience.

Vault 5421 say their Escape the Vault experience is currently slated to open July 6th, but development has been going extremely well. They teased that it could potentially open a little earlier than expected and recommend following their Facebook page to keep tabs on the opening date and details. The cost of the experience has not yet been determined but will be released along with other information through their Facebook page as more information becomes available.

Vault 5421 disclosed to Narcity that they plan to open up pre-sale tickets sometime following their 4 year anniversary event on June 15th. Keep an eye out on their page for that opportunity. Additionally, they plan to start development on the next adventure campaign following the launch of this experience, so you'll be able to experience something new every quarter too.

If you can't wait to Escape the Vault and are 18 or older, you can check out Vault 5421 or the Gods & Monsters comic shop at 5421 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. They're open Wednesdays 5 pm - 11 pm, or 5 pm to 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays are closed unless booked in advance. The comic shop's hours do differ.
