At Walt Disney World Orlando, it's not just a place of fun and adventure, but also of challenges; whether that's facing your fears on soaring heights and thrilling drops, or finishing a massive kitchen sink sundae. Oh, it’s a thing — and if you think you can conquer this monster of a sundae all on your own, you might have to think again. Served in an actual kitchen sink, this dessert is not for the faint of heart!
This behemoth of a dessert runs for $35 and is recommended to feed at least four.
The concoction starts with a bed of hot fudge, butterscotch, and peanut butter sauce, stacked high with eight total scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and your choice of ice creams, pineapple and strawberry toppings, and one whole sliced banana.
Oh no, it's not done yet. Add on the chunks of Bundt cake, an entire can of whipped cream, one brownie, a slice of angel food cake, a candy bar, four chocolate sandwich cookies, sprinkles and nuts, a whole bunch of cherries on top, drizzled with chocolate syrup — then top it with marshmallow and this beast is complete.
Have a peanut allergy? They can also remove or substitute those items in your sundae. If you didn’t get a stomachache just from reading that, you might be ready for the real deal.
When a courageous guest orders this dessert at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, an actual alarm goes off and one of the staff members makes an announcement to the entire eatery declaring your challenge.
Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of brave Disney guests who have risen to the challenge?
You’ll want to pace yourself, come hungry, and definitely bring a friend for emotional support (or to help you finish). Happy eating!
