Why you should go: Genji Japanese Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and either time is a great time to go. Since it is a more upscale restaurant, it's not the cheapest but you're paying for quality. This is also a great place to take your friends, since they have a lot of other options like Pad Thai. However, if you're going to try sushi anywhere, it should be at Tomo.
