It's crazy to think that it's already the first day of fall, when it seemed like yesterday we were all so stoked that it was the first day of summer. Anyways, all good things must come to an end but in my opinion, fall is where it's at. Fall is finally here and we can now transform into human pumpkins and watch all of the classic Disney Channel Halloween movies without being judged.
Or, if you're not into being a hermit, you can also do all of these 17 things listed below. So make sure your grab your plaid shirts and your Venti PSL and you'll be good to go.
1. Fall Rhapsody
Located in Gatineau Park, you can taste farm fresh products, see the work of local artists, and enjoy a picnic outdoors while learning facts about fall.

3. Yoga on Parliament Hill
It was a hit all summer and now it's sadly coming to an end. Join other yogis on Parliament Hill for the last yoga session of the year!
4. Carp Fair
No matter how old you are, fairs are still fun AF. They're known as the best little fair in Canada for a reason.

5. Ottawa Food Truck Rally
Get your appetites ready. The Ottawa Food Truck Rally is no joke, and it offers the best street eats that Ottawa has to offer.
6. The Price Is Right LIVE!
Relive your childhood dream of being on The Price Is Right! This live show works like the one you see on TV, and you can win prizes just like the contestants on the show. Honestly shoutout to Bob Barker.
7. 2016 Panda Game
uOttawa Gee-Gees and the Carleton Ravens go head to head at TD Place during this game. This rivalry will never be put aside.
8. Mac My Cheese Fest
A three day festival all about Mac and Cheese. I don't need to say any more.

9. Saunders Farm
Everyone in Ottawa knows this is the prime spot to go during fall time. Be ready to be chased by creepy men with white eyes and blood all over them while holding a (fake) chainsaw.
September 24th – October 31st
10. ELE Festival
An amazing and local festival at uOttawa that is open to the public. The diversity in music will make it fun for everyone and there is way more to do than just dance to the music!
11. Pick your own pumpkin!
Ottawa has many places that you can go to pick your own pumpkin. Become a kid again and colour/carve like you never have before!
12. Hit Up a Local Farmers Market
It's a great way to support local farmers, and to guarantee that your food is fresh. A lot of them close at the end of the fall season, so make sure you get your in-season fruits and veggies before it ends!
13. Jack Pine Trail
Getting out into nature during the fall time is so calming. You can also feed the birds from your hands, which is a crazy experience.
Pumpkinferno is a pumpkin exhibit that displays close to 7,000 beautifully carved pumpkins. It's more than worth it to go and check out these uniquely carved pumpkins.

15. Ottawa Wine and Food Festival
This festival has been going on for 31 years and just keeps getting more popular. Experience wine, beer, spirits and food from around the world.
November 4th – November 6th
17. Upper Canada Cranberries
Their products are sold at local farmers markets, however they do offer visits to the cranberry farm itself. It's amazing to see where these cranberries are actually grown, and you can see that local food tastes so much better.
