19 Differences Between Frosh And Seniors At Queen's University

When you go into Queen's, you don't just start on a course towards your degree, you're on a journey. And aside from the stereotypical University partying and all night studying (and in this case those stereotypes are true), Queen's adds a little something more to your University experience. 

And like all things in life, everyone is at a different stage in their journey. Frosh and seniors are a certain type of breed, and though everyone is different there are some things that we all shared; especially at Queen's.

8K People Gathered At A Queen's University Homecoming Party & Things Got Way Out Of Hand

A police officer was injured and the crowds reportedly became "volatile."👇

Approximately 8,000 people took to the streets of Kingston on Saturday afternoon for an unsanctioned Queen's University homecoming party.

At around 2:30 p.m., Kingston Police said a "volatile crowd" had gathered outdoors on Aberdeen Street, where projectiles had been thrown towards officers, resulting in one sustaining an injury.

Around an hour and a half later, police declared the area around Aberdeen and William streets an "aggravated nuisance party." This meant it exceeded Ontario's COVID-19 gathering limits and organizers were subject to fines of up to $10,000 under the Reopening Ontario Act.

Ontario Restaurant's Liquor Licence Suspended For Refusing To Follow COVID-19 Rules

The restaurant reportedly refused to comply with vaccine certificates.

Kingston restaurant J.A.K.K. Tuesdays won't be serving up any alcoholic drinks for the time being.
