A Bacon Festival Is Happening This Weekend In Ottawa

Ottawa always has festivals going on. Whether it's a huge cheese curd festival or a huge taco festival, Ottawa knows how to do food right. So we're definitely not shocked that a bacon festival is coming.

Baconpalooza is held at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and there is so much to do. From food trucks to beer and cocktail tents, you'll be wondering why this festival isn't on everyday of the week.

The festival is on from August 25th to August 27th, and the food you'll experience is unreal. Not only is there bacon ice cream, but you'll also find foods such as chocolate covered bacon, bacon donuts, and so much more. They will also have a ton of unreal chefs there who will demonstrate delicious bacon recipes!

Local breweries, restaurants and food trucks will be catering the event so you'll get to taste a little home in all the food and drinks. If you're a bacon lover, this is your place to be. Is there a way you can pass up a bacon festival that only happens once a year? The answer is no.

Baconpalooza is located at 861 Prince of Wales Drive and is on from 6 to 11 pm on Friday and 9 to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. For more information on this amazing and delicious festival and how to get tickets, click here
