A Lord Of The Rings Actor Is Coming To Ottawa And Here’s Where You Can Find Him

Billy Boyd who plays Peregrin “Pippin” Took in the legendary Lord of The Rings trilogy is coming to Ottawa's Comiccon this spring. Comiccon Ottawa is really coming through with the star power, just last year Madelaine Petsch from Riverdale attended and this year Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones is also attending.
Billy Boyd is known for being the hobbit that always screws up throughout the Lord of the Rings films. Seriously, let's never forget the iconic scene where Pippin sings for Denethor in The Return of the King. Not to mention the scene in Fellowship of the Ring where Pippin drops an entire body into the well at the mines of Moria and Gandalf calls him a "Fool of a Took". If you're someone that absolutely loves the Lord of the Rings trilogy, like me, then you have to make your way to this years Comiccon to see Billy Boyd.
This isn't the first time Boyd is coming to Ottawa. In 2015 he attended Ottawa's Comiccon where he shared stories about filming the Lord of the Rings. At his last visit he sang “The Last Goodbye” from The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, maybe this year he will treat everyone to the iconic "The Edge of Night".
The three-day convention will be from Friday, May 11th to Sunday, May 13th. The exhibit also includes panels, film screenings, celebrity autograph sessions, photo ops, workshops and much more. Some other special guests include Sean Gunn from Gilmore Girls, Julian Glover from Star Wars: Episode V, Laurie Holden from The Walking Dead, and Joonas Suotamo who plays Chewbacca in Star Wars.
