Do you love escape rooms? If so, you need to add this ultra-challenging escape room in Ottawa to your bucket list. If you can complete it, you could get hired by a Canadian spy agency.

The Escape Manor told Narcity in an email that this room is different than any of the other experiences they offer. The room was developed as a way to recruit people to work for Canada's security and intelligence community.

To design The Recruit, they partnered with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE). Together, both teams worked to craft a potential real-life situation that could occur at the CSE.

To make the experience as realistic as possible, the government agency provided incredible props.

Shelly Bruce, Chief at CSE said in a press release, "Partnering with Escape Manor was a natural fit for us... This innovative partnership aims to raise awareness among Canadians of the work that CSE does and of the fulfilling career opportunities available at CSE."

The story of the room goes as follows: You are on your first day of cybersecurity work. Unfortunately, a global cyberattack happens which cuts you off from the rest of the organization.

As such, it is up to you to show your problem-solving and critical thinking skills in order to save the world.

You'll need to race against the clock to defeat The Recruit at Escape Manor. Together with your team of up to six people, you will have 45 minutes to tackle all the puzzles.

Be warned: this room is hard! Right now, there is a 14% success rate; approximately one out of every 10 groups is victorious.

If you manage to defeat the room with time left on the clock, you can then move to the bonus activity. You'll need to solve this last problem to have your credentials forwarded to the job recruiter.

Do you think you have what it takes to crack the final challenge? So far, the success rate is at 1%, with just one person having answered the final bonus puzzle.

To try The Recruit at their Hintonburg location, you'll need to reserve a time slot online at Escape Manor's website.
