Winter time is not exactly very bright. As in the sun literally goes down sooner into dark nights, and is probably why there is something just so darn magical about Christmas lights. Am I right!? One of the best ways to experience all the holiday magic is checking out the Glow Gardens in Ottawa.
Tagging along with Anika, we explored the 78,000 square-feet wonderland where millions of twinkling lights are on display for all to see.
Ottawa is one of only 10 cities in the world to host Glow Gardens, and we couldn't be happier to be able to enjoy this amazing festival. It gives us a chance to experience enchanting interactive light gardens, illuminated structures, and various themed playgrounds while taking in the sparkle all around you.
This year's theme is "Glow Around the World," where you can follow Santa's journey as he visits festive city streets inspired by six different countries.
There's also delicious food and beverages to be had, live entertainment, and a market showcasing the best local artisans and boutiques.
Glow Gardens is guaranteed to glow up your holidays spirits, and your Insta feed will also never be the same. Make sure to check it out while it's in town!
