World's Largest Indoor Christmas Lights Festival Is Coming To Ottawa & It's Really Sparkly

One of the best parts of the holiday season is all the beautiful Christmas lights. But instead of going outdoors into the freezing cold, you can visit Glow Gardens, the world's largest indoor Christmas festival! This winter, you'll be able to experience the holiday magic of Glow Gardens in Ottawa.

Glow Gardens first launched in 2017 near Vancouver and was a huge success! Now in 2019, the festive event has expanded to 11 cities in Canada, the United States, and Europe!

Here in Canada, Glow Gardens will be happening in Abbotsford, Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Saskatoon, and Vancouver. In Ottawa, Glow Gardens will take place at the EY Centre from December 1, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

Inside the EY Centre, there will be 78,000 square feet of Christmas decor and activities to explore. You'll be able to escape the cold and see millions of gorgeous twinkling lights!

Glow Gardens will be the perfect spot to get your holiday selfies. There will be tons of illuminated selfie backdrops, like multicoloured string lights, LED hoop swings, and more! So get ready to take some stunning Instagram photos.

The 2019 theme for Glow Gardens in Ottawa is "Glow Around the World". Guests will be able to follow Santa's journey around the world as you visit festive city streets inspired by six different countries!

Also at Glow Gardens, there will be live music, delicious food, and a bar where you can enjoy a seasonal beverage. You can also do some holiday shopping at a market selling goods from local artisans and boutiques.

Tickets to Glow Gardens in Ottawa are currently on sale. Weekday tickets are $19.99, weekends and holidays are $22.99, and a season pass is $49.99 when purchased online on the Glow Gardens website.
