There are so many goat puns I could make right now. I'll save you and myself the embarrassment.
But seriously, goat yoga has been a weird but fun trend the past year. And even though we're not sure where it came from, we're also not mad about it. Although there is no scientific reasoning between why yoga and goats make you feel extremely happy, I think we can all agree that being surrounded by kid goats while you're relaxing is not harmful at all.
Ottawa is a little bit late to get with the trends, but not this time. There aren't many places around the world that are participating in goat yoga, but the Canadian Agriculture and Food Museum wanted to change that.
On June 6th, you will be able to take a 75 minute yoga class with kid goats while in a historic farm building. From 7pm to 8:30pm, a certified instructor will be guiding you through a yoga session with kid goats jumping on you and maybe giving you kisses if you're lucky. Life is good.
Space is limited and tickets are $20 each, so book ASAP! You must be 19 years or older to participate. For more information, check out their Facebook page and their website.
