Huge Ottawa Letters Will Be Placed In The ByWard Market This Summer

Are we cool now like Amsterdam and TorontoMaybe even cooler, you decide.

Just in time for Canada 150, giant letters spelling out Ottawa will be placed in the ByWard Market, which will make it a tourist and hometown attraction. As we get closer to Canada 150, Ottawa keeps getting more and more exciting and we're definitely not opposed to it.

The letters will be placed on York Street, right in front of Kinki Lounge Kitchen. They will now occupy a space that was once a parking lot, and we're not sure if any other tourist attraction will surround the letters.

It's not everyday you see huge block letters of your own citys name, so take out your cameras and get that obligatory shot!
