Ottawa Christmas Tree Farms Where You Can Spruce Up Your Holiday

It may only be November, but Christmas will be here before we know it, and that means it's already time to start thinking about decorations. We all know Christmas trees are a staple of the holiday, and while a fake one gets the job done, there’s something so enchanting about having a real tree in your home. The festive smell of cedar or pine wafting from room to room truly can't be beaten. Luckily, there are numerous Ottawa Christmas tree farms in and around the city where you can chop down your own perfect tree this season.

Even if you consider yourself the Scrooge of the group, these charming farms will have you trading in your bah, humbugs for fa-la-la-la-la's.

Even aside from the chance to pull up your own Christmas tree and then bring it home, tree farms are so delightful that you could totally spend hours wandering through the snowy forests. Plus, most farms offer a long list of other enticing winter activities for you to enjoy. You'll often be greeted with free hot chocolate and a cozy fire pit, with some farms even having horse-drawn sleigh rides and more.

So, if you've never harvested your own Christmas tree before, it's time to branch out (not sorry) and get into the holiday spirit at one of these magical tree farms.
