Located on Wellington Street West, the coffee shop provides rescued felines with a temporary home until they can be adopted.
On their website, the animal haven describes their business as “A cozy space where you can interact with these lovely rescue cats.”
The cafe's cats range from permanent residents and fosters, to kitties looking for a new home. Visitors are encouraged to spend time with the animals and get to know them, as long as they follow the cat-etiquette rules.

Explaining how their company works, the Feline Cafe says, “We are a cause-focused business, which means that our business operates in order to support the cats that we foster.”
“With the profits, we are able to pay for housing, food and supplies for these cats that are looking for their forever home.”

Since opening in 2017, the coffee shop has successfully facilitated almost 400 adoptions.
