One easy way to make your home feel extra inviting is by adding some plants. So to help you get some new plants for your home, Ottawa Plantfest will be hosting a free plant event.
That is right you can get a plant for your home for free! The 2019 Free Plant Event will take place on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 from 10 am to 2 pm each day.
To get your free plant you will need to head to Jack Purcell Community Centre on June 8, or the Lansdowne Park Farmers Market on June 9. If you have a plant you wish to donate, you are asked to arrive for noon to trade your plant for a new one. Everyone who doesn't have a plant to trade can come for 1 pm where all the remaining plants will be given away.
Don't forget to RSVP to get your free plant! To make sure there are enough plants for everyone, you will need to mark yourself as attending on the Facebook event page (there is a different Facebook event per day).
Make sure to mark this event in your calendar! A free plant is an easy way to improve your living space! Not only do plants look pretty, but they are good for your health too. Plants will reduce the level of carbon dioxide and other pollutants like benzene in your home.
