There Are Giant Polar Bears Roaming Around Downtown Ottawa Today And Here's Why

You may have already seen them and if you haven't yet, you need to head downtown. Today there are giant polar bears walking around downtown and you may be wondering why TF?!

The Canadian Museum of Nature has a new exhibit and this is the perfect way to showcase the Arctic theme. The exhibit opened on June 21st and it is an all new permanent gallery. The exhibit showcases the diverse wildlife of the Arctic and the beautiful culture of the Inuinnait. 

The bears are on a tight schedule today so before heading out plan your day!

  • 10 am to 11 am: Sparks Street walk starts at Elgin, heading West

  • 12 pm tp 12:30 pm: Yoga on Parliament Hill (Umm... bears doing yoga, yes please)

  • 2 pm to 4 pm: Depart Chateau Laurier to visit ByWard Market - Lapointe's Fish Market, Inspiration Village

To visit the new Canada Goose Arctic Gallary exhibit head to 240 McLeod St and to see the polar bears head downtown.
